IS FIT CAMP FOR ME?

1. Do you offer any free trials?

No – we do not offer any free trials.

2. I’m a beginner. Can I participate in these classes?

Yes. The classes are suitable for people of all fitness levels.

3. Where do these classes take place, how long are they and what times do they start? 

The classes take place in Surbiton. To see the class timetable please click here.

4. Do I need to check with a doctor before I attend a class?

You should complete and sign our PAR-Q (health and fitness questionnaire) before you attend a workout. This is an online form, and the link will be provided to you by the Fit Camp Coach. Women who are pregnant should check with their GP before starting any classes.

5. What is the minimum age to participate in these Fit Camp classes?

The minimum age to participate in any of our Fit Camp classes is 16.

6. Do these bootcamp classes take place outdoors during the winter?

Our Fit Camp classes in Surbiton continues outdoors (if it’s deemed safe to do so) and indoors during the winter months. We may occasionally need to make changes to the workout timetable / venues and will try to give as much notice as possible. However please be aware that the workout timetable / venues for our classes in Surbiton may occasionally change at short notice.

7. What should I wear?

A decent pair of outdoor running shoes, an old t-shirt and shorts, tracksuit bottoms or running leggings. Some of the participants like to wear a lightweight base layer, gloves, and a hat during the winter months.

8. Will I be shouted at?

No, you will not be shouted at. However, our instructors will call out instructions and words of encouragement to keep the class motivated, so everyone gets the most out of their workout.

9. What do I need to bring with me to these Fit Camp classes?

Please bring a bottle of water. You are welcome to bring a mat with you, however this is not necessary. We provide spare mats for the indoor classes we run.

10. Can I turn up to a Fit Camp class without booking it?

No – all members are required to book online for the class they wish to attend before the class. The monthly subscribers and the members that have paid for a pack of 10 outdoor classes will be given a coupon code that needs to be added when making the booking.

11. I would like to bring a friend or family member to a Fit Camp class. What information do I need to provide for this?

Your friend or family member will need to complete and return the PAR-Q (health and fitness questionnaire) that will be sent.

12. Do you offer deals for members that want to bring their partners?

13. I forgot to make payment for the Fit Camp class before I took part in it. Can I pay for it after the class?

Yes, however you will need to pay the full price which can be viewed here.

14. Do you provide boxing gloves for the BassBox and Boxercise classes?

You are welcome to bring your own boxing gloves, however we also provide spares for the members to use.

15. How will I know how many Fit Camp classes I have left in the pack of 10 outdoor classes I paid for?

We will let you know how many classes you have left either by email or text message / WhatsApp. It is important you book any class you want to attend using the coupon code provided so we can keep a record of your attendance and inform how many classes you have left to use.

16. I didn’t attend the outdoor Fit Camp class I paid for. Can I therefore attend a free future Fit Camp class?

If you sign up and pay for an outdoor Fit Camp class, you will have to use it within a 2 week validity period – that is until 2 weeks after the date of purchase. If the purchased outdoor Fit Camp class does not get used in this 2 week validity period then it will automatically expire and cannot be used at a later date.

17. I didn’t attend the indoor Surbiton BassBox class I paid for. Therefore, can I attend a free future BassBox class?

In the event you cancel or fail to show up for an indoor BassBox class you have booked, the sign-up fee is non-refundable and the purchased indoor BassBox class cannot be used at a later date.

18. Can I transfer my membership to another person if I can’t use it anymore?

No, memberships are for personal use only and are non-transferable.
